Two External Accreditations Achieved!


On 22nd June, an external audit took place in our organisation by National Citizens Advice as part of our commitment to quality based on our Performance Quality Framework.
This framework has 9 key areas ranging from how we are organised and managed, through to quality of staff, advice, financial sustainability and most importantly, how clients benefit from our service and the outcomes achieved. We scored 4 out of 5 in 7 areas and 3 out of 5 in 2 areas.
The auditor gave very positive feedback including the following statement:

 

….you have continued to ensure a high quality service to meet the needs of your community and your Quality of Advice rating has been consistently excellent.

We have also applied for the quality mark Advice Quality Standard in Casework for welfare benefits and debt. We passed this process with flying colours – this means that clients and commissioners can be confident in our ability to undertake casework on behalf of people who need this type of support.
