Help to Claim Universal Credit Service

What is the service and who can access it?

From April 2019, Citizens Advice Dudley Borough can support you as a Dudley Borough resident to make a new claim for Universal Credit, from opening your account to receiving your first full payment. You can be referred to us for support by the Job Centre, Local Authority, other agencies who identify a need for help or refer yourself.

  • Complete your claim to-dos
  • Verify your identity
  • Make sure you’re providing the right evidence to the Job Centre
  • Understand what Universal Credit will mean for you

How can this service be accessed?

CALL:  0300 3309 044 Monday, Tuesday and Thursday between 9.30 am and 3.30 pm for advice on how we can support you, alternatively you can ring National Citizens Advice on 0800 144 8444 between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday        VISIT: Pop into to see us: 2nd floor, Dudley House, Stone Street, DY1 1NP – Monday to Thursday from 9.30am to 3pm
