Welcome to our new organisation – Citizens Advice Dudley and Wolverhampton

In September 2020 the trustee boards of Citizens Advice Dudley Borough and Citizens Advice Wolverhampton formally agreed to merge. On 1st January 2021 our merge was complete!

Today, 23rd February 2021 we are proud to formally launch or newly merged organisation – Citizens Advice Dudley and Wolverhampton.

We are a new organisation but with an immense history spanning back to the day after World War 2 was announced in 1939.

We are a charity that helps people access services to help improve their quality of life, helping people to know their human rights and tackling the injustices and inequalities people often face.

As of today, Citizens Advice Dudley and Wolverhampton is made up of a team of dedicated, experienced and passionate people: 13 Trustees, 100 paid staff, 45 volunteers.

In 2019/20, we helped 25,892 clients, with 77,049 advice issues relating to real life struggles such as being in poverty, being made homeless, experiences of domestic violence, receiving unlawful treatment from Employers, struggling with escalating debt, issues around child access etc.

As a consequence of our merge we are now BIGGER and STRONGER and will be striving to help even more people in the many more years to come.

Happy Birthday Citizens Advice Dudley and Wolverhampton – you are born!
