Trustee Board and Leadership Team Strategic Away Day
Recently, our Leadership team met with the trustee board for the annual strategic away day to showcase the headline highlights of 2024 and to discuss strategic aims to be delivered through the business plan for 2025/26.
One of the big successes shared for 2024 was our transformation journey, the launch of our new values and a new Health & wellbeing policy which we are embedding across the organisation. Trustees appreciated all of the hard work that was required to achieve this and passed on their thanks to all staff and volunteers for engaging and making the journey together.
Discussions were had on business opportunities we have succeeded in, consisting of not only re-winning contracts for our existing projects but also some amazing new projects starting in 2025 which led to new recruits for 2024, who we welcome to the organisation and look forward to working with.
For Citizens Advice as a whole and our charity in 2024 turned 85 years old, we also celebrated 40 years of volunteering! The Trustees were enjoyed hearing how we celebrated across the month of September and were overwhelmed when they saw the memorabilia that had been displayed.
It really was a day for celebration and as an organisation – staff, volunteers and Trustees, we are excited to see what 2025 will bring and we cannot wait to share next year’s headlines!
