Uplift Advice Service
What is the service and who can access it?
Our Uplift service provides community based advice to residents living in Low Hill and Wednesfield. This service is funded by the Big Lottery and specifically targets these two areas of Wolverhampton where many residents experience deprivation and disadvantage.
The service is intended to run drop-in advice sessions in community locations and work with partner organisations. This helps people to access advice as early as possible and avoid problems escalating.
We address the full range of advice issues including benefits, housing, employment and family issues, along with referrals into our specialist advice services such as debt and housing.
